Triesman Reveals Corruption Four FIFA Officials

Lord Triesman, a former president of the English Football Federation (FA), resign from office after a trial in a bid collusion host the World Cup 2018 and 2022 revealed by the Sunday Times at the end of last year. Now, Lord Triesman has accused four high-ranking FIFA tried to ask for bribes.
The first name called is a FIFA vice president and president of CONCACAF, Jack Warner. "He (Jack Warner) said she was very worried because after years of managing football in Trinidad and Tobago, nothing can be considered to be his legacy," said Lord Triesman at the session of parliament members who ask for clarity about the nomination process English as Cup host World 2018.

For the procurement of these facilities, Warner asked for funding of 2.5 million pounds. The request was conveyed in a meeting also attended by president of the English Premier League, Sir Dave Richards.


"I immediately said, 'for me the offer is not reasonable'. Sir Dave also told me, 'Are you kidding Jack, you talk about 2.5 million pounds of money," he continued. "Jack Warner nodded without saying a word. But, he later said the fund could be delivered through an intermediary, and he guarantees the funds will be used sensibly."
Warner has denied the allegations and called the confession of Lord Triesman is just nonsense from someone who wants to restore his political career. "I never asked or anyone else Triesman, the British or from another country, for some funds for my voting rights," specifically told Sky Sports News.
Besides Warner, Lord Triesman said federation president of Thailand, Worawi Makudi, requesting control of broadcasting rights for England test match against his country in return for its votes. FIFA executive committee member from Paraguay, Nicolas Leoz, asking knighted. While the Brazilian federation president Ricardo Teixeira, also asked for compensation.
