Valentino Rossi has rejected suggestions he would try out some new parts for his motorcycle Ducati GP11 at this weekend's Portuguese GP at Estoril Circuit. Instead, "The Doctor" said that it will be done after seeing the results of the race.
I think, for this weekend's motor will remain more or less the same, except something to electronics, to enhance the character of the engine.

Not without reason was given advice. The reason is, by far the Ducati Desmosedici GP11 was unable to compete with Honda and Yamaha, who appeared dominant on the track dry. However, according to Rossi, he will wait until Monday, after the third series of races in the MotoGP 2011.
"I think, for this weekend's motor will remain more or less the same, except something to electronics, to enhance the character of the engine," said Rossi at Estoril.
"After that will be a test on Monday, which it will be important because we did not do a lot of tests during the season," he added.
Rossi is expected to get a new engine and chassis, as part of the test, which became the first test only two days of testing during the racing 800cc machines this season. The second day is after Brno in mid-August.
Rossi, winner of seven titles MotoGP world champion, will race this weekend with the capital to finish in seventh position and five in two series premiered in Qatar and Jerez, Spain. This is the best result in his debut as a Ducati rider.
Actually, in Jerez Rossi had a chance achieve a better position because he already was fighting for second position. Unfortunately, in the wet race, Rossi was involved in an accident with Casey Stoner that he should be satisfied to finish in fifth position.
"I have a good opportunity to reach many points (in Jerez), but I made a mistake and should lose many points for myself and also to Stoner," Rossi said.
Although Rossi failed on the podium in Jerez, but his team mate, Nicky Hayden, Ducati could take the podium.
Because the rider from the United States is finished in the top three, behind Spanish duo Jorge Lorenzo (Yamaha) and Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda).
